True Evil
I would be remiss if I did not ultimately bring the conversation around to the single most important problem we face at any level – bad actors. It sound very small and irrelevant to talk of it in such an overwhelmingly large forum as world politics, but aggression is the single most important sign sign of a bad actor. That’s the secret behind the Free Thinkers’ philosophies – we abhor aggression. The Bible itself said “the meek shall inherit the earth” and what have I been stressing over and over again? I have put an inordinate emphasis on being meek. Everything from the Non-aggression Principle, to talk of having restraint, being meek, peacekeeping and peacemaking have all fallen in line with this idea that the meek are children of GOD and with the Free Thinkers’ philosophies. Is this a coincidence? I don’t think so, but I like to believe that I am a healthy skeptic, therefore there is no such thing as a coincidence. I strongly believe that the Bible was hinting that Free Thinkers shall inherit the earth. The core of their belief system is correct, ethical and good. It’s a healthy moral code – it just needed to evolve to become what I propose it should be: humanism. That’s why I wrote this book. The single overriding reason for my desire and passion is to talk about humanism. To make this way of being a main stream topic. If the unrest in the U.S.A. and the protest at the Capital is indication, I have failed epically. There is, apparently, very little appetite for unity at this moment in time (the 7th of January 2021 is the time of the writing of this paragraph).
The U.S.A. and the Only Path Forward
At the time of writing this paragraph (also Jan 7th, 2021) I have listened to several podcasts, read several newspapers and have seen much footage on t.v. and much to my disappointment there is one thing I have not heard: an apology from left-wing media. Let me be very clear: I am NOT a trump supporter. Never will be. I am a peacemaker – and it’s tricky sometimes. Psychology tell us that invalidating someone’s emotions through denial is a form of gaslighting. You can’t expect peace while the left denies all culpablility in the almost total demise of the U.S.A. and its institutions. We all know what Trump did. But without an acknowledgement from left of their culpability we have only gaslit Trump supporters, angry and wanting to be heard. In the last four years I have heard the left say several damaging things, which I will talk about one at a time. Here’s the list:
⦁ Call climate change “man-made”, a guilt trip (emotional extortion) which ignores all natural processes including continental drift which shape our little planet. The Bible says that in the end times there will be a “great earthquake” the will “remove all land from its place”. The phraseology strongly suggests that the true culprit is the reversal of continental drift, something clearly not in our control. If the Bible is correct, then climate change is not your fault. Let me repeat that: It’s not your fault – it was NEVER your fault. You are innocent. You did not cause the mass extinction event we will face.
⦁ Pin the blame on African-Americans by saying that they want a moderate (for the Democrat nominee), want a woman of colour as Vice President, that IF they vote Biden can win and IF THEY DON’T Trump will win. I am still wondering where the “diverse coaltion of supporters” the Democrats promised were in it, magically disappeared to in the meantime. It’s everyone was standing shoulder-to-shoulder and then suddenly took a step back to leave African-Americans all alone at the front. I call this meatshielding: verbally shifting the blame onto someone else. In this case, no matter what happens, it appears to be the fault of the African-American community. This is NOT how we should treat our fellow humans. It’s repugnant.
⦁ Create the concept of identity politics. Let’s imagine you have to coffee mugs that are identical, like the kind on most talk shows. How do you tell them apart? You make them different. You give them a label. Now they are Mug A and Mug B, repsectively. Remember, there is no such thing as identities only human beings. Labels are for things you put on a shelf, they aren’t fit for humans. I am not what you call me, I am who I am. I am the exression of my values through my behaviour towards others. The Democrats have made no apology for callously dividing the U.S.A. into a culture war.
⦁ Isolate, mentally destabilize and radicalize much of the country through “lockdowns”, which they claim are because of “coronavirus” but which licensed psychologists will tell you is actually what you expect from predators. Paedophiles, Rapists, Stalkers and Serial Killers are known for isolating victims. What does this tell you about the Democrat party? At the very least, they chose a wildly inappropriate way of dealing with the pandemic.
Naturally, this is not an exhaustive list. There are other examples. The level of psychological warfare and manipulation endured by American citizens is appalling and needs to stop. I hate to say it, but someone needs to challenge the election. There is no way it was “free and fair” with the emotional equivalent of a gun-to-your-head, the prime example being the climate change guilt trip, which is literally the emotional equivalent of a gun-to-your-head. I realize the most this will do is cause the election to be rerun, and of course cognitive dissonance will set in so the result won’t change but at least the Supreme Court can put in safeguards. I hope that this will mean that Americans never go through this again. It has been devastating! We can’t leave the door open to this kind of manipulation by the media – IT MUST BE ADDRESSED. Americans have the “Right to Peace of Mind” – no one should ever have to endure this kind of abuse. I pray we have all learned a valuable lesson from this turmoil. Let’s not repeat it.
